Residential Life Staff

Individuals committed to creating a living-learning environment on-campus staff the Residential Life Department. A mix of professional and student staff members manages the department. Senior staff members all have several years of experience managing residence hall communities.

The Assistant Dean for Campus Life
The Assistant Dean is a professional member of the Campus Life staff and is responsible for all aspects of the housing programs, including supervision of all Residential Life staff members. Area Coordinators
The Area Coordinators are professional staff members who reside in and supervise the residence halls. The day-to-day operation, programming, and functioning of the halls are the responsibility of the Area Coordinators. They supervise the halls' student staff members and provide guidance to the hall council. The Area Coordinators also counsel individual students and serve as referral agents to other campus offices.

Resident Assistants
The Resident Assistants are student staff members who live on the various floors with the students. The Resident Assistants plan and implement hall activities, enforce rules and regulations, and assist with administrative responsibilities as directed by the Area Coordinator.

Academic Programmers
Academic Programmers are student staff members who live in the residence halls to assist students with their academic progress. The Academic Programmers offer specialized educational programs, peer academic counseling, and resource and referral information sharing throughout the academic year.
