Documents Accepted by Columbia College for the Evaluations of Military Experience

All documents for evaluation should be submitted to the campus where the student will be attending. The preferred documents for evaluation are the AARTS, SMART, CCAF, CGI, and National Guard Transcripts. All military credit (except credit from the CCAF transcript) is considered non-traditional credit. All Baccalaureate Degrees awarded by Columbia College require a minimum of 60 semester hours of traditional credit (coursework taken with Columbia College and other approved, accredited institutions); remaining coursework may be earned from traditional or non-traditional (military experience, CLEP exams, etc.) sources.

For Military Education to be evaluated from any document, the course title, date, length and location must be provided on the document or with accompanying documentation.

To be accepted as Certified True, the following items are required:
Signature of the Certifying Official must be an original (no photo copies); the signature must be legible so that we may contact the individual if necessary; the rank of the official must accompany the signature; the date must accompany the signature; Page 4's, Page 8's and Page 3's must be Certified True in the listed manner on each page, front and back, that is submitted for evaluation.
