International Programs

International students and Coordinator An important office for all international students, International Programs serves as an advocate and liaison for international students assisting in their interactions with government agencies, community organizations, and campus offices. The coordinator of International Programs also advises students regarding immigration regulations, employment opportunities, American customs and assists in the transition to life in the United States.

Immigration Information

For students who will apply for an F-1 (student) visa, information is available regarding the visa process, immigration policies and procedures, and benefits students are eligible to receive while in F-1 status.
Through effective programming and communication, International Programs counsels faculty, staff and students on international issues; and provides current information on U.S. government regulations and institutional policies and practices affecting international students. International Programs also assists the institution through recruitment, admission, integration, and retention of international students.
Through effective programming and communication, this office fosters an environment of cultural awareness and understanding.
