Student Activities Commission

Student Activities Commission (SAC) strives to develop and implement top notch "edu-tainment."  The group works diligently to bring entertainers to campus, including comedians, musicians, illusionists, and other novelty acts.  The group also makes it a priority to take smaller groups of students off campus to experience all that Columbia has to offer.

Interested in being part of SAC?

During the spring semester, students can apply to be part of SAC for the upcoming year.  SAC will interview and select students who will then have the opportunity to choose the events for the following year.  In addition, SAC commissioners poll the student body and use survey results to plan their schedule.

If you’d like to apply for SAC, complete this printable SAC Application and bring to the Campus Life Office on the 2nd floor of the Atkins-Holman Student Commons.

UPDATE:  We are currently selecting two members for the fall 2008 semester!  Fill out the application and turn it in by Tuesday, September 9, 2008 to be considered!
