Military Program Overview

Top 20 Military Friendly college 2008Regionally accredited and nationally recognized, Columbia College has four decades of expertise in awarding non-traditional credit for military training and experience, accepts all ACE recommendations for military training and CLEP, DANTES and ECE examinations, maintains a liberal withdrawal policy for military-related circumstances and accepts up to 60 credit hours of nontraditional credit towards our 120-hour bachelor's degree programs.  All this demonstrates a flexibility not found at most educational institutions.  Add in our partnership in GoArmyEd, EArmyU, NCPACE and NCPDLP programs;  the availability at the home campus to Army, Naval and AF ROTC programs; the offering of in-seat courses at 18 military installations; and the taking on of operational responsibilities for national test center on 13 military installations and you’ll see how Columbia College earns the designation “military-friendly.”
