About Columbia College-Redstone Arsenal
Columbia College-Redstone Arsenal was established in 1975. The venue provides higher education to military and their families. The venue offers high-tech classrooms, qualified academic advisors and faculty and high-speed, online access to library resources.
The venue provides a unique educational opportunity to working adults through its degree offerings and eight-week course format. With a national network and a robust online program, the college offers convenient courses to civilians and military learners.
More than 400 students each year take a mix of in-seat and online classes here.
Columbia College-Redstone Arsenal was established in 1975 to serve the military population and their families on the base and surrounding communities. Today it continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the area.
Columbia College-Redstone Arsenal is part of Columbia College's network of nationwide venues. The first extended venue was founded in St. Louis in 1973 after an Army education services officer was interested in providing courses to Army recruiters in the area.
Today, Columbia College has more than 30 venues, including one in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The online program at Columbia College also serves students in the Redstone Arsenal area.
