Columbia College-Hunter AAF Campus seeks a highly motivated, customer service and team oriented, organized individual for the position of Administrative Assistant. Duties include: providing excellent customer service to all visitors, reviewing and processing daily application reports, monitoring the campus e-mail account, contacting students regarding registration issues, scanning files into document imaging system, registering students, taking payments, and other administrative duties as assigned. As the first point of student contact, the successful candidate will be friendly, learn quickly, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Minimum qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of computer experience/course work, strong computer literacy and data entry skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, the successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills, good phone etiquette, strong attention to detail, the ability to organize multiple tasks and work independently. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the Internet, Outlook and Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include work experience in customer service, experience with adult higher education students, and knowledge of basic office equipment, such as credit card machine, fax machine, copier and postage machine. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
