Columbia College-Hancock Field in Syracuse NY is seeking a part-time building monitor. The campus building monitor has the primary responsibility for monitoring all building functions for all college operations after office hours in the evenings and on weekends. The monitor is responsible for the general safety and security of the education complex during this period.
Duties and responsibilities: Ensure the building is empty and make sure all exterior/interior doors and windows are locked. Maintain vigilance outside the building for suspicious activities. Provide faculty with support as requested to use any office equipment, make minor repairs or configure equipment in the classroom. Prove a written report to accidents, incidents or other situations that occur regarding students or instructors to campus administration. Accompany students to their vehicles if requested. Other duties as requested by the campus staff.
High school diploma or equivalent, one year of office experience. Computer skills in data entry and word processing; security experience.
