Columbia College-Lake County seeks a highly motivated and organized individual for the position of Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will perform job duties in accordance with Columbia College's vision, mission and values, and contributes to the development of the Adult Higher Education Department. The Assistant Director assists the Campus Director in the day to day campus operations. The duties and responsibilities include: Administrative & staff management, event planning, customer service, budget preparation, and synchronizing student and faculty support. In the director's absence, is able to assume the duties of the director and respond to requirements directed by the Department of Adult Higher Education. Some evening & weekend work is required.
Minimum requirements: Master's degree, experience in higher education, expanded computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, oral and written communication skills, ability to travel and pass an annual driver's license review.
