Columbia, Mo. - Dr. Wendy Libby, president of Stephens College, will address Columbia College graduates at the winter commencement ceremony at noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, in Southwell Gymnasium on the Columbia College campus. "Dr. Libby was invited to be our commencement speaker to showcase the cooperative relationship between our institutions. She is a dynamic and engaging speaker with important things to say," said Dr. Gerald Brouder, president of Columbia College.
Graduates representing the Day, Evening, Online and Nationwide campuses will participate in the ceremony. Nearly half of the 344 participating graduates represent the Nationwide Campuses, including graduates from eight Missouri campuses: Kansas City, Jefferson City, Christian County, Moberly, Fort Leonard Wood, St. Louis, Lake Ozark and Rolla. Other campuses represented at the ceremony will include Los Alamitos, Calif.; Aurora, Colo.; Orlando, Fla.; Fort Stewart, Ga.; Lake County, Ill.; Crystal Lake, Ill.; and Ft. Worth, Texas. Degrees will be conferred upon nearly 800 Columbia College students from all campuses.
Graduates of the nursing program will participate in the Nurses Pinning Ceremony at 10 a.m. in Launer Auditorium.
