(San Luis Obispo, Calif.)--Columbia College-San Luis Obispo will confer 52 bachelor's degrees to students at a commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, May 26 in the Student Conference Center located on the Cuesta College campus.
Dr. Marie Rosenwasser, Cuesta College superintendent/president, will address the graduates. Dr. Terry Smith, Columbia College executive vice president and dean for Academic Affairs, will be the featured speaker and will confer degrees.
"Commencement is an opportunity to recognize student achievement with faculty, staff, friends and family," said Smith. "We are proud of the accomplishments of our San Luis Obispo campus graduates."
Columbia College-San Luis Obispo was established in 1998 as an extension of the Los Alamitos campus. It opened as a separate and distinct campus at Cuesta College in 2001. Columbia College-San Luis Obispo is the founding partner of the University Partners Center at Cuesta College.
Columbia College was founded in Missouri in 1851 and serves nearly 25,000 students each year at its Day Campus, Evening Campus, Online Campus, Graduate Studies Program and its more than 30 Nationwide Campuses.
