Preul named associate director of Alumni Relations

COLUMBIA, Mo., June 3 - Columbia College is pleased to announce the hiring of Carolyn Preul as associate director of Alumni Relations.

“Carolyn brings to this position experience in marketing, graphic design and event planning,” said Susan Davis, senior director of Alumni Relations. “We’re confident Carolyn will help us continue to create innovative ways to connect with our alumni, and we’re excited to welcome her to our team.”

Preul will assist the senior director on the planning, organization and implementation of strategic and departmental goals. She also will serve on college committees designed to bolster alumni interaction and affinity, and will collaborate with various college departments on alumni outreach initiatives.

Prior to joining the college, Preul served as creative director at Inside Columbia magazine, where she was responsible for the graphic design of the company’s publications, as well as its printing service, Custom Publishing Solutions. She also worked with the company’s special events, social media and management teams. Preul is active with the Stephens College graphic design department, serving as a speaker and guest panelist since 2008. Preul holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.
