Columbia College's public relations and marketing departments receive Communicator Awards

COLUMBIA, Mo., June 4 - Columbia College’s public relations and marketing departments recently received four Communicator Awards, which are presented and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.

For its work on the 2013 Annual Report, the public relations department received a Silver Award of Distinction in the Annual Report-Education overall category and a Silver Award of Distinction in the Annual Report-Copy/Writing category.

The college’s marketing department received a Gold Award of Excellence for “Young Americans” in the Video Commercial category and a Silver Award of Distinction for its internal marketing blog in the Content Marketing Blog category.

The Communicator Awards recognize work in marketing and communications, and receive more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind.
