About Columbia College-NAS Jacksonville 

Columbia College-NAS Jacksonville was established in 1990. The venue, onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville, has high-tech classrooms, a computer lab and qualified academic advisors and faculty. Students enjoy high-speed, online access to library resources.

More than 500 students each year take a mix of in-seat and online classes here.

Columbia College-NAS Jacksonville has an agreement with Florida State College at Jacksonville. This provides students a seamless transition from an associate degree through a bachelor's degree at Columbia College.

Location history

Columbia College-NAS Jacksonville was established in 1990 onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Today it continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the area.

Columbia College-Jacksonville is part of Columbia College's network of nationwide venues. The first extended venue was founded in St. Louis in 1973 after an Army education services officer was interested in providing courses to Army recruiters in the area.

Today, Columbia College has more than 30 venues, including one in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The online program at Columbia College also serves students in the Jacksonville area.
