About Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield
Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield was established in 2002. The venue provides higher education to working adults and offers high-tech classrooms, qualified academic advisors and faculty and high-speed, online access to library resources.
The venue provides a unique educational opportunity to working adults through its degree offerings and eight-week course format. With a national network and a robust online program, the college offers convenient courses to civilians as well as military adult learners.
More than 600 students each year take a mix of in-seat and online classes here.
Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield has an agreement with Central Texas College. This provides students a seamless transition from an associate degree through a bachelor’s degree at Columbia College.
Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield was established in 2002 to serve the military population and their families on the base and surrounding communities. Today it continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the area.
Columbia College-Hunter Army Airfield is part of Columbia College's network of nationwide venues. The first extended venue was founded in St. Louis in 1973 after an Army education services officer was interested in providing courses to Army recruiters in the area.
Today, Columbia College has more than 30 venues, including one in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The online program at Columbia College also serves students in the Hunter Army Airfield area.
