Yes, you can...take advantage of several scholarships
Columbia College-Fort Drum offers several scholarship opportunities to qualified students. Some of these opportunities are:
The Spouses' Opportunity Grant, which pays the tuition for the student's first class with Columbia College
Military Spouse Tuition Grant, which reduces the cost of in-seat courses by 20%
Military Family Member's Opportunity Grant, which pays the tuition for the student's first in-seat class with Columbia College
eScholarship, pays up to $1,000 to an eligible student taking online courses
The Frank Westling Scholarship which goes toward books and tuition
Col. Charles E. McGee Scholarship, pays up to $1000 to an eligible military veteran
The Two-In-Family Grant, which provides a tuition reduction for each immediate family member who is enrolled as a full-time student
The Associate Transfer Grant, which provides a reduction in tuition for the first year
The Senior Citizen Award for students 65 years of age or older
Other scholarship opportunities may be available, and each scholarship/award has specific eligibility and application requirements. Please consult a staff member for further details.
