Many active duty personnel stationed in San Diego choose to retire here because of the area's superb climate and military friendliness. San Diego also is home to baseball's Padres, perennial football contenders the Chargers, world-class museums, Legoland, Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, consistently ranked the world's best.
