ROTC at Columbia College
Students at Columbia College participate in ROTC through a cooperative program with the University of Missouri (MU) by attending regular classes on the Columbia College campus while completing ROTC coursework on the MU campus, just 10 blocks away. This allows students to take advantage of the small class sizes and personal attention Columbia College offers.
- Two-, three-, and four-year scholarships for qualifying students
- A monthly living allowance and book stipend
- 10 Columbia College Housing Scholarships for scholarship recipients that cover 100 percent of room charges
Who can participate?
High school students, students already attending college and those currently serving in the military who are interested in becoming officers all are eligible to participate in ROTC.

Currently enlisted ROTC members
Each military branch offers its own enlisted commissioning program. Personnel selected for one of these programs will become cadets or midshipmen whose sole military responsibility will be to complete their college education and receive a commission.
With Columbia College's network of more than 30 venues nationwide, the traditional campus, evening program and online program, personnel interested in these programs can begin their college education with Columbia College while serving at their current duty station. Upon entering the ROTC program, new cadets and midshipmen will transfer to Columbia College to attend the traditional campus, located in Columbia, Missouri, to finish their degree.
