Military Advanced Education, a publication that focuses on educational services and opportunities for military students, invited over 2,000
institutions to share their military-friendly practices. Just sixty institutions were selected as being military-friendly, and only twenty, including Columbia College, were honored as the top institutions. Columbia College understands the needs of today's service members.
We offer eight-week sessions, five times a year. Our online program consists of 19 online degree programs, and more than 600 online classes. Columbia College accepts all military rating or occupational specialty, challenge examinations, CLEP and DANTES; however, all bachelor's degrees must contain a minimum of 60 traditional college hours. Residency requirements are adjusted for active duty military members and their dependents. We understand that the military working environment can change in a moment's notice, so special refund policies are in effect for military students deployed during academic sessions.In the news
