Columbia College-Marysville/Everett recently added two new programs to its degree offerings: an associate and a bachelor's degree in human services.
"According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, human services is one of the fastest growing fields out there today," said Tom Larsen, director of Columbia College-Marysville/Everett. "Our students asked for this degree offering, and we pride ourselves on responding to the needs of our students, offering both an associate and a bachelor's degree option."
The Marysville/Everett campus already offers associate degrees in general studies, business administration and criminal justice administration and bachelor's degrees in American studies, business administration, criminal justice administration, general studies and management information systems. The campus also offers a master's degree in business administration and supports the college's Online Campus which offers 19 degrees and more than 600 classes.
The Marysville/Everett campus served the greater Puget Sound region at the Naval Station Seattle at Sand Point from 1975-1994 and has served active-duty military, their dependents and the public with courses taught at Naval Station Everett and the Navy Support Complex at Smokey Point, Marysville since 1995.
Columbia College-Marysville/Everett is part of Columbia College's network of nationwide campuses.
