COLUMBIA, Mo. (April 21, 2010) - Robert Pine has been named director of Columbia College-Fort Sill. Pine will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the campus, including class scheduling and student and faculty recruitment and retention.
"Robert's familiarity with Fort Sill and his previous experience in management and education make him a perfect fit for the director position," said Mike Randerson, vice president for Adult Higher Education for Columbia College.
Before joining the college, Pine was the administrative officer for the department of behavioral science at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Fort Sill. He is retired from the U.S. Army after spending 11 years as a senior non-commissioned officer in military hospitals.
Pine holds a bachelor's degree in Christian counseling from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Ga., and a master's degree in human resource management from Webster University in Fort Jackson, S.C.
