Public relations department at Columbia College hires graphic designer, public relations associate
Thursday, November 05, 2009

Kaci Smart joins the Columbia College public relations creative services as a graphic designer. Smart has been working since August 2008 as a part-time freelance designer for the department. Prior to that, she served as a graphic design intern for Columbia College.

"We are excited to have Kaci on board in our creative services division,” said Joanne Tedesco, senior director of Public Relations. “Her work as an intern was proof that she’d be an excellent addition as a full-time employee.”

Jessica Royston is the newest addition to the division of editorial services within the department of public relations at Columbia College. She joins the staff as a public relations associate. Royston previously worked at the Department of Natural Resources as a public information specialist where she wrote and edited a bimonthly newsletter, created news releases and maintained the Soil and Water Conservation Web site.

"Jessica will be a great asset to our team,” said Tedesco. “She has much-needed experience writing and coordinating communications for internal and external audiences.”

Smart hails from Tebbetts, Mo., but now makes her home in Columbia. Royston resides in Jefferson City, Mo.
