Columbia College faculty and staff win art show honors

Columbia College faculty and staff were among the winners of the 46th-annual Boone County Art Show Sept. 25. Winners include:

  • Fibers—second place: table runner by Naomi Sugino, assistant professor of art

  • Professional drawing—honorable mention: Momentary Loss by Michael Sleadd, assistant professor of art

  • Non-professional drawing—honorable mention: Buddha by Cheryl Hardy, department chair and professor of psychology

  • Professional painting—honorable mention: Lamps by Naomi Sugino, assistant professor of art

  • Non-professional other media—honorable mention: Bench by Tom Stauder, business administration instructor

  • Ceramics—honorable mention: Organic Slab by Ed Collings, professor of art
