Letters of Recommendation
Recommendations can be submitted by printing the designated paper form or by electronically requesting recommendations from references.

Completed paper recommendation forms should be provided directly from the recommender in a sealed, signed envelope. It is suggested that all paper recommendation forms be provided to the recommenders with an addressed, stamped envelope deliverable to the campus to which the applicant is applying.
Most graduate programs at Columbia College require applicants to provide three letters of recommendation. Recommendations should attest to the applicant's ability to successfully perform graduate work, and at least 80 percent of the quantified descriptors should be in the two highest categories.
