Post-baccalaureate admissions
Applicants who have not completed all required prerequisite courses at the time of applying to a graduate program, but fulfill all other admission standards, can be considered for post-baccalaureate admission.
If admitted under this status, all prerequisite courses must be successfully completed with a grade of B or higher prior to enrollment in graduate coursework. Once the prerequisites are completed, students are eligible for graduate course enrollment.
These prerequisite courses are:

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) post-baccalaureate program is for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to fulfill Missouri teacher certification requirements. Certification requirements are established by the Missouri State Department of Education. Each admitted student's transcripts will be evaluated against these requirements in order to determine the courses the student will have to take for certification in his/her area.
