The following is short introduction to the new APA format which will also serve you as a template for your papers.

APA Format 5th edition

NOTE:  These resources are outdated.  I will not accept any APA papers in the 5th edition format after December 2009.  Starting in January 2010 ALL APA papers must be in the new format.

Example Paper

Example APA Paper  This outstanding paper was written by a student.  This is a great place to start when learning APA.  Print it out and compare your work, element by element and page by page, to this example.

APA Paper Templates

This template, offered in three file formats (.doc, docx, and .rtf),  allows you to choose whichever extension is best for you according to your word processing program.  The rich text format is as close to a universal format as you can get and can be used by most word processing programs within most operating systems (BSD, , Linux, Mac, and Windows Variants).
