Okay - here's the recipe for my famous Chocogasmic Brownies
You will need to assemble the following equipment:
- 9x12 backing pan
- Small Heavy Saucepan
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Mixer
- Measuring Cup
- Large Mixing Spoon
Gather the following ingredients:
- 2 sticks sweet butter (1/2 cup)
- 5 ounces of unsweetened chocolate
- 6 egg yolks and 4 egg whites (don't use the 2 extra whites)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
- 2/3 cup of All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup of M and Ms milk chocolate candies.
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Oil and Flour the 9x12 baking pan
- Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in the small heavy saucepan on low
heat until melted then remove from heat and allow to cool to room
temperature.
- Beat 6 egg yolks, 4 egg whites, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of corn syrup in the large mixing
bowl until thick, creamy and lemon colored.
- Add 1 tsp of vanilla and mix well.
- Fold chocolate mixture into egg and sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Gently fold flour in the batter, mixing until just blended.
- Fold in M and Ms.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the center is set. Poke a knife into the
center. If it comes out wet, the brownies are not done yet.
- Cool in the pan for 20 minutes before cutting into bars.
- This recipe will yield 12, 3x3 (large) brownies.
