CC students receive grantTuesday, April 02, 2002
Several Columbia College students recently received $1,000 each as recipients of the first student grants disbursed by the Student Support Services Office: Stacy Maskey, Christina Steffes, Cindi Collet, Jarrod Pantaleo, Russ Morlando, Doug Moore, John Fisher, Kimberly Albrecht, John Browning, Kristie Phillippe and Glenn Robertson.
The educational grants will be awarded to students each semester and are based on participation in the program, grade point average and financial need.
The Student Support Services Office, created last fall, provides educational and social support to low-income, disabled or first-generation college students.
