History and Political Science Department
History majors acquire an education that promotes citizenship and personal enrichment while preparing students for a wide range of professional career goals. The History program helps to prepare majors for graduate or law school, teacher education, public service, and private sector careers. Internship opportunities are available.
American Studies constitutes a multidisciplinary program for the exploration of the United States of the past, present, and future. It brings together faculty and students from a variety of disciplines to compare and to exchange knowledge about the American experience.
