High School Summer Arts Intensive (SAI)
Fuel your creativity at the Columbia College Summer Arts Intensive. You'll work with exceptional art faculty and learn new techniques in drawing, jewelry, graphic design, painting, mixed media, and photography sessions. This camp is ideal for creative thinkers interested in building their artistic skill, receiving valuable input on their work and learning more about the Columbia art scene.
The 2017 SAI runs from Monday, June 5 - Saturday, June 10.
Each student will rank their preferred sessions and we will do our best to ensure everyone gets their first pick. If a session has to be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be moved into their second choice. Morning session options include Drawing, Jewelry or Graphic Design (which will be taught from 9AM - 12PM) and the afternoon session options include Painting, Photography, or Mixed Media (which will be taught from 1PM - 4PM). Students will need to be dropped off in the morning by 9AM and picked up in the evening by 4PM.
We will conclude on Saturday, June 10th with an exhibition and reception in the Sidney Larson Gallery from 3PM - 4PM, where all the student artworks made during SAI will be on display. All family and friends are invited to come for the reception!
Registration for the 2017 SAI is now closed.
