Dr. Tina Dalrymple
Dr. Tina Dalrymple graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing (Albany, New York) and became a registered nurse. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing and a minor in Management from Hartwick College. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Community Health and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and her Ph.D. in Nursing with an emphasis in Rural Nursing from Binghamton University (Binghamton, NY).
Dr. Dalrymple has spent more than 30 years in the field of nursing specializing in obstetrics and community health nursing. Dr. Dalrymple is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and worked for many years at Bassett Healthcare (Cooperstown, New York) in school-based healthcare clinics. She spent 11 years as a full-time nursing professor earning tenure and promotion to Associate Professor before to moving to Missouri. Her past teaching experience included Maternal-Child Nursing, Community Health, Nursing Management, and Rural Nursing classes in both traditional and accelerated Bachelors of Science in nursing programs. She has also taught in online courses, including Community Health, Nursing Research and Health Assessment.
Courses Dr. Dalrymple teaches at Columbia College include Women’s and Infants’ Health (NURS 303) and Nursing Research (NURS 490). She is also the Director and Chair of Nursing and Health Sciences at the College.
Dr. Dalrymple lives in Rocheport with her husband, Dr. Scott Dalrymple, and has five grown children and three grandchildren. Dr. Dalrymple enjoys art, jewelry making, sewing, gardening and playing piano in her spare time.
