Entrance testing for the nursing course sequence

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®)

Students are required to achieve a competitive score on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®) in order to be considered for acceptance into the Nursing Sequence. Currently, a TEAS® Sixth Edition is being given. The ATI TEAS® exam must be administered at Columbia College to be considered for admission.

Students may take the TEAS® at any time before the application deadline. However, it is highly recommended it be taken as close as possible to finishing the prerequisite courses. Students are allowed to take the TEAS® a maximum of three times. There is a TEAS® Study Guide available on the ATI website.
