Associate in Science in Nursing Program

Two locations
The Associate in Science in Nursing degree is available at the following locations:
- Main campus in Columbia, Mo.
- Columbia College–Lake of the Ozarks campus, located in Osage Beach, Mo.
Students may apply to the main campus program, the Lake of the Ozarks campus program, or both. Twice a year, students are admitted to the nursing course sequence. The program is open to individuals who have no prior nursing education and to individuals who are licensed practical nurses.
A quality program
The Columbia College Nursing Program is offered in two locations – the main campus in Columbia, MO and the Lake of the Ozarks campus in Osage Beach, MO. The Columbia program is fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The Lake of the Ozarks program has initial approval with the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The Columbia College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and holds specialized accreditation in its Education program. Graduates of either program are eligible to apply to take the Missouri State Board of Nursing Licensure Examination to become registered nurses.*
Notice: Columbia College no longer accepts the Nursing Entrance Test (NET). Applicants must take the TEAS® to apply. Learn more about entrance testing.
*Successful completion of the program does not guarantee eligibility to take the licensure examination. According to the Nursing Practice Act, licensure may be withheld or revoked due to controlled substance abuse, criminal prosecution and a variety of other offenses.
