Fire Service Administration
The Associate in Science in Fire Services Administration is a comprehensive
two-year program designed to allow students to apply college credit hours that
they have earned from the University of Missouri’s Fire and Rescue Training
institute (FRTI) and the National Fire Academy (NFA) toward their degree. This
program is rich in general education courses to facilitate pursuit of a baccalaureate
degree and possesses the requisite technical and managerial courses to provide
a foundation for leadership in the fire service. All courses with FSAD field
codes are offered by MU FRTI or the NFA.
The A.S. in Fire Service Administration will be discontinued to new students as of Fall 2019.
