Multimedia Rooms

Columbia College offers a total of 40 multimedia rooms for improved presentation of courseware. These multimedia systems have ceiling mounted projection systems with computer access, and include internet access, projector, smart board, computer, CD and DVD media as well as a normal overhead projector.

Computer Labs

The computer lab offers access to computers, network and software technology to individual students. It is open to all enrolled students. Students use the lab to access the Internet, type term papers and work on various class projects. Students may also set up e-mail accounts in the lab.

Each residence hall is also equipped with a computer lab for accessing the Internet, typing papers and checking e-mail. Students may also install personal computers in their residence hall rooms.

Internet access is available at no charge to the student.

Technical Help

The computer help desk supports the campus in computer and network use. It provides a single point of contact for questions concerning telephone service, e-mail and connecting computers to the campus network.
