(MARYSVILLE, Wash.)-Columbia College-Marysville/Everett will confer 30 associate, 36 bachelorís and seven masterís degrees to students at a commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 16 at the Everett Performing Arts Center in Everett, Wash.
Ray Stephanson, Everett mayor, will deliver the commencement address. He will be joined by Captain Eddie J. Gardiner, Naval Station Everett commanding officer, and Dr. Terry Smith, Columbia College executive vice president and dean for Academic Affairs, giving congratulatory remarks. Smith will confer the degrees.
"Commencement is an opportunity to recognize student achievement with faculty, staff, friends and family," said Smith. "We are proud of the accomplishments of our Marysville/Everett campus graduates."
Columbia College-Marysville/Everett was established in 1975 and is celebrating 30 years of serving military and working adult learners in the Puget Sound region. The campus offers classes on Naval Station Everett and at the Smokey Point Navy Support Complex in Marysville.
Columbia College serves nearly 25,000 students each year at its Day Campus, Evening Campus, Online Campus, Graduate Studies Program and its more than 30 Nationwide Campuses.
