OSAGE BEACH, Mo., Dec. 7, 2012 The Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks Nursing Program will celebrate the hard work and perseverance of 14 of its nursing students with a pinning ceremony for the December 2012 class on Friday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m.
This marks the 13th class that has completed the requirements for the program which continues to flourish under the guidance of Nursing Program Director Linda Claycomb and Lake of the Ozarks site coordinator Kelli Schnell. Since its inception in 2005, the program has provided more than 220 nurses (234 including next Friday’s class) to the Lake of the Ozarks area
The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. at the Annex Building of Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks and refreshments will be served to all in attendance following the event. For more information, contact Sam Fleury at (573) 348-4293 or Vanessa Hebrank at (573) 348-6463.
The Lake Ozark campus was established in 1990 and recently celebrated its 22nd anniversary. In 2004, a new 17,400-square-foot building was constructed, completed in spring 2005. The first classes held in the new facility were offered in June 2005.
