C.C. Connection

Your evolution as a student continues as you explore your options for college. We are pleased you have applied to Columbia College and have been accepted. Now it's time to take the next step by participating in Columbia College Connection.

At C.C. Connection you will register for classes and get a head start on other new student orientation activities. You'll be given top priority to select the classes you need at the times most convenient for you.

Reserve your place

Register using the online form below. C.C. Connection is free, but a $100 deposit is required to register for classes.

Partial payments for the fall semester also can be made during C.C. Connection or a payment plan can be arranged. A financial aid representative will be available to answer any questions.

Parents are encouraged to attend

Parents can attend their own information sessions to learn more about academic issues, campus life, financial aid and more.

Overnight accommodations

Schedule

8:00 a.m. Math Placement Assessment

(You will be told if you need to arrive early for placement tests.) Math placement tests may be required if ACT/SAT scores are not available.

9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Check In, Atkins-Holman Student Commons

Meet current students and staff, receive an overview of campus and learn about community resources. A light snack will be available.

9:30 a.m. Welcome and Introductions

Meet Columbia College administrators and the community consultants who will serve as your guides for the day.

9:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. C.C. Connection Activities

A community consultant will guide you through the day's events. You can:

  • Select classes for the fall ($100 deposit required - applied toward tuition)
  • Meet other new students
  • Have your student I.D. made
  • Visit the bookstore and purchase books
  • Visit with faculty and staff
  • Meet with financial aid representatives
  • Tour the campus and residence halls

A complimentary lunch will be provided for you and your guests.
