Transfer Students

A transfer student is defined as a student who has enrolled in a college or university since high school but has never attended Columbia College.

To apply for admission to Columbia College as a transfer student, applicants must:

  1. Complete the online application for undergraduate admission.
  2. Pay application fee, if applicable. No application fee is required for new Day Campus applications postmarked by January 1 for the fall term. All other applications must include a $35.00 non-refundable fee.
  3. Request official high school transcripts be mailed directly to the Evaluations Office. (A transfer student who has earned more than 24 transferable semester hours may not be required to submit a high school transcript or ACT/SAT score).
  4. Request official transcripts from each college previously attended be sent by mail directly to:
