Multicultural Requirement
Every student who graduates from Columbia College with a bachelor's degree must meet the Multicultural requirement.
Students who participate in a study abroad experience or who have lived for at least six continuous months in a single country other than the United States do not require coursework to meet this requirement.
School transcripts from a foreign country or military orders can be used to document residence outside of the United States.
All other students must complete a course which explores other cultures or cultivates an appreciation of cultural diversity. Cultural studies courses and courses listed below satisfy the requirement.
