The Columbia College Board of Trustees approved the name of the new science building, which will henceforth be called the Gerald T. and Bonnie M. Brouder Science Center. “President and Mrs. Brouder have made tremendous contributions to the college over the last 18 years, and the naming of the building will provide a fitting and lasting tribute for their efforts,” Daisy Grossnickle, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said in an email.
Keila Ferree, Manager of International Admissions, and Britta Wright, Director of International Student Services, recently concluded a campus visit with 11 university students from Brazil. The group is in the U.S. as part of the Science Without Borders program.
