Your chili recipe could be famous!
Columbia College is hosting a mini chili cookoff in anticipation of the Feb. 23 MFA Rootin' Tootin' Chili Cookoff to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia.
The CC Cookoff will take place in Missouri Hall 321 on Feb. 12. Prepare your favorite chili recipe the night before and bring it in that morning. You will need to bring enough chili for approximately 25 people to sample. Crackers, bowls, water and spoons will be provided. At noon, faculty, staff and students can taste the different recipes and vote on their favorites. For just $1, enjoy all-you-can-eat samples (or submit a recipe, and eat for free).
The winning recipe will be featured two weeks later in the Columbia College booth at the Rootin' Tootin' event, which is held at the Central Missouri Events Center.
For more information about either event, or to volunteer at the Rootin' Tootin' Chili Cookoff, please contact Kyle Gunning (firstname.lastname@example.org).
