Student of the Month

Congratulations to work studies student Mary Engemann.

Mary Engemann has been a work studies student for Sally Wells and Tim Ireland since August 2012. “Mary quickly comprehended our needs and fulfilled them beautifully,” Ireland says. “She required little - if any - training on most issues. Her typical response to a request is ‘Sure, I can do that!’ and she performs her duties with the greatest of respect and civility.”

Engemann is proactive, showing both leadership and initiative. She’s eager to take on new challenges with minimal supervision - and a smile. “How wonderful it is to discover that work you expected to do yourself has already been completed,” Ireland continues. “Who would have thought that teaching at Columbia College could be so easy!”
