Many around Columbia College know Dave Byland as one of our long-term adjunct instructors, or as having taught classes on many Nationwide Campuses as well as in Columbia, Mo. But his higher-education activities reach beyond his adjunct responsibilities. Effective September 1 of this year, Byland became Director of Student Services for Moberly Area Community College, a partner of Columbia College and one of the largest sources of transfer students to CC. His involvement with many facets of the college, along with having grown up in Moberly quickly proved to be of benefit to both institutions.
