Alumni Relations Idea Exchange

Six local colleges discuss alumni engagement.

The Columbia College Alumni Relations staff invited representatives from four area colleges and universities to campus Nov. 13 for an alumni relations peer institution workshop. Michael Kateman welcomed the group to campus for the day-long event. The goal of the event was to share ideas on programming, events and communication pieces that have proven effective in engaging alumni. Each school gave 30-minute presentations on initiatives that they have implemented.

Institutions attending included: Columbia College, Central Methodist University, Stephens College, Westminster College and William Woods University.
