Columbia College adds a trustee

Dale Coe Simons, a 1965 graduate of Christian College, now Columbia College, and immediate past president of the Columbia College Alumni Association, has accepted an appointment to the Columbia College Board of Trustees. The appointment is effective immediately.

“I am grateful that Dale has accepted a trusteeship,” said Dr. Gerald Brouder, president. “She brings to the table a lifetime of love for and experience with Columbia College. Her stewardship will be a very strong asset as we strive to bring Columbia College ever closer to being a model institution.”

Simons, who lives outside Austin, Texas, is on multiple boards and volunteers extensively in the community. Her mother, Helen Neary ’38, is also a Christian College graduate.
