Individual Career Counseling
Career planning often is a challenging process that can be complicated by many factors, such as expectations of others, lack of self-confidence, and labor market conditions. A Counselor is available, by appointment, to help you in such areas as:
- Choosing or changing a career direction
- Understanding the relationship between choice of major and career plans
- Assessing abilities, interests, and priorities
- Location sources of career information
- Learning about graduate school options and the admission process
- Mastering job search techniques
- Developing interview skills
- Any related concerns, such as making the transition from college to work and coping with parental or financial pressures
To schedule an appointment with a counselor, call or drop by the Career Services Center between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
