Columbia College-Lake Ozark seeks a part-time English Tutor to provide individual and group tutoring to students at the Lake Ozark campus in addition to supporting student learning styles and study skills on an as-needed basis. Tutor will provide assistance to students by reviewing all class material, including textbooks and other resources, clarifying/explaining formulas, checking homework problems/identifying errors, and other activities related to academic support in classes requiring mathematics skills. This tutoring is offered as a supplement to instruction provided in in-seat and online Columbia College classes.
Minimum qualifications include: Must have completed a Bachelor's degree (or applicable courses leading to it) , excellent communication skills; strong background and skills in English, and ability to work evenings and weekends. Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
