Day Campus: Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen
This is a general reference guide only. For detailed information regarding terms and conditions of scholarships and renewal criteria, please review the "Scholarships, Awards, and Grants" section of your academic catalog. Find your catalog on the Registrar Web site. Institutional scholarships listed apply to tuition only; combinations of scholarships and external assistance cannot exceed tuition or apply to other charges unless otherwise specified. Scholarships below are only available to full-time undergraduate Day Campus students unless otherwise specified. Scholarship criteria are reviewed annually for changes; contact your admissions counselor to determine if there are any proposed changes for the upcoming year.
The following scholarships are available to freshmen who attend traditional day classes in Columbia, Mo.

| Coast Guard Spouse Grant | The overall award maximum is limited to $4,000. To be eligible, the student must be the spouse of an active duty Coast Guard military member, degree seeking in an associate degree program (excluding the Associate of General Studies degree program) and fully admitted to Columbia College. The discount does not apply to students whose tuition is covered under other tuition assistance programs. This grant cannot be used in conjunction with any other Columbia College tuition discounts or grants. Student must submit the grant application before registering and show military dependent identification card to campus for verification (online students may submit the Military Status Form). | IB Diploma Scholarship | Awarded to new freshman who have completed a recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program with satisfactory marks. Satisfactory marks are defined as those greater than or equal to scores that will transfer in as Columbia College credit. | Up to $4,000 | Yes |

| Military Spouse Tuition Grant | To be eligible the student must be the spouse of an active duty, guard or reserves member. The discount does not apply to online coursework, nor does it apply to students whose tuition is covered under tuition assistance programs other than the MyCAA program. This grant cannot be used in conjunction with the two-in-family grant. | ROTC | ROTC scholarship recipients are eligible for 100% of room charges. Ten awards are available each year. Submit the ROTC scholarship award letter with the Columbia College Financial Assistance Application to the Registration and Financial Services Office. ROTC students at Columbia College participate in conjunction with the University of Missouri-Columbia. | Room | Yes |
| Silver Citizen Discount | Awarded to students 65 years of age or older. Students are required to pay all other charges in connection with enrollment, coursework and graduation.
